Delivery drivers in Wiltshire have been stopped by police and reported for various offences.
The Roads Policing Unit caught a couple of misguided motorists on the county’s roads recently.
At around 11am on Sunday, they spoke to the driver of a stopped Hyundai i30 who did not have insurance for making deliveries and did not have a licence which allowed them to drive in the UK.
The vehicle was seized and the person behind the wheel was reported.
Later that day, just after 4pm, officers took “another uninsured food delivery driver off the road”.
The motorcyclist had a licence, but a spokesperson noted that “he probably won't have it for long” because it already had six points on it for previously driving without insurance, and this new offence would likely lead to a driving ban.
The two-wheeler was seized and the rider was reported.
