Suspected hare coursers allegedly rammed and shot out the windows of a vehicle during a “terrifying” incident in Wiltshire.

Police confirmed they are investigating an incident which is believed to have taken place in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, November 10, at a farm in Wilsford.

Around six vehicles, suspected to have been involved in hare coursing, allegedly surrounded their victims’ vehicle, rammed it, and shot out the windows with catapults.

One of the cars reportedly used in the attack was described as a silver BMW X5 while police say another was a Toyota Rav 4.

Police will ramp up their presence in the area over the coming days.
