A Wiltshire children's bereavement charity is marking its 10th anniversary with an awareness campaign.
Wiltshire Treehouse, which helps children in Swindon and Wiltshire, will mark the milestone as part of its annual 'Week to Remember' from November 18 to 24.
The charity began as a support group for bereaved siblings at Great Western Hospital before a £35,000 donation allowed it to become a registered charity.
It has since helped more than 2,000 bereaved children and young people, and 4,000 parents and carers.
Sarah Bear, business director at the charity, said: "Inspired by receiving the Wiltshire Life Charity of the Year award, we wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate our 10th birthday and give back to our community that has supported us so much.
"With nominations from across Wiltshire and competition steep, we have whittled it down to a short-list of individuals and schools and can’t wait to celebrate and thank them for their commitment to bereaved children and young people."
The charity is also encouraging people to host coffee mornings to raise awareness of children's grief.
It has also planned an awards ceremony on Friday, November 22 to honour community bereavement champions.
The charity, which started with one ten-hour-a-week post, now has six part-time staff and more than 30 volunteers.
