Police have seized “counterfeit vapes and cigarettes” after raiding multiple shops in a Wiltshire town centre.

Officers targeted stores around Chippenham during a series of raids on Friday, November 8.

During this operation a “significant” number of counterfeit vapes and cigarettes were discovered and subsequently seized.

While officers were seen attending several shops in the centre of town, police had not revealed which warrants resulted in counterfeit goods being seized at the time of writing.

Wiltshire Police has been approached for comment on which of the raided shops the goods were seized from and if any further action has been taken.

“This operation resulted in the seizure of a significant quantity of counterfeit vapes and cigarettes.
