A man was hospitalised after he was allegedly glassed in the face during a "serious assault" at a Wiltshire pub.
The alleged assault took place at the Kings Arms in Castle Street, Trowbridge, at around 1am on Saturday, November 9, say police.
A man in his 30s is reported to have been struck in the face with a glass and suffered injuries that required hospital treatment.
Officers from Wiltshire Police were called and have since arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of inflicting Section 18 grievous bodily harm.
He remains in police custody at the time of writing.

The force’s investigation is still ongoing, and police are urging any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
A spokesperson added: “We are appealing for potential witnesses following a serious assault at the King’s Arms in Castle Street, Trowbridge shortly before 1am in the early hours.
“We need to hear from anyone who was at the pub, or nearby, who may have seen what took place.
