The band that recorded the most-played song of the 21st century will play at a festival near Wiltshire next summer.
The band is Snow Patrol, and the song is Chasing Cars - reported in 2019 by the BBC to be the most popular song on radio since 2000.
They will be playing alongside Elbow, Sting, The Script, Blossoms, James and Rag’N’Bone Man at Forest Live at Westonbirt Arboretum on Tuesday, June 17 2025.
Chasing Cars never hit number one but did stay in the charts for over three years after its release in 2006.
Other hits by Snow Patrol include ‘Run’, ‘Just Say Yes’ and ‘Open Your Eyes. They have earned seven Meteor Ireland Music Awards, an Ivor Novello award and been nominated for six BRIT Awards and one GRAMMY.
