A company that provides host family services to foreign students has been recognised with a prestigious award for the second year in a row.
Trowbridge-based Wiltshire Host Families was named Hosting Provider of the Year at the Prestige Awards.
The award celebrates the company's work in offering host family services to international students visiting Wiltshire and the South West.
Wiltshire Host Families believes its ability to "consistently deliver high-quality experiences for both students and host families" was key to clinching this year's award.
Jo Cass, the firm's operations manager, said: "We are honoured to be recognised once again by the Prestige Awards.
"This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team and the amazing host families who make a real difference in these students’ school trip experiences."
Wiltshire Host Families matches short-stay international students aged 12 to 18 with local host families.
These students visit with their school for three to five days and stay with their host families in the evening, providing them with a genuine insight into English family life.
Currently, Wiltshire Host Families has more than 120 host families across Trowbridge, Westbury, Warminster, and Melksham.
Hosts are compensated £19 per student per night, rising to £20 from January 2025.
