A tribunal will be held over the future of a Wiltshire doctor who admitted assaulting an emergency worker.
In August 2023, Dr Paul Crocker, of the Bradford on Avon and Melksham Health Partnership, accepted a caution at Trowbridge Police Station for the assault of an emergency worker.
A Medical Practitioners Tribunal will begin on Monday, November 18, to determine if any action will be taken against Dr Crocker following this incident.
During a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, November 5, a panel heard Dr Crocker had accepted an allegation of assault by beating against person A, who was granted anonymity.

An account read out from witness A during the preliminary hearing claimed Dr Crocker raised both fists at her before punching her twice with both hands in the nose and mouth while shouting “this is what it feels like when someone shuts a door in your face.”
A second witness added Dr Crocker was “really angry” during the incident.
But while the doctor accepted a caution, his version of events read out at the hearing claimed he was shaking his fists in “sheer frustration” when he “accidentally” struck the officer, causing her a nosebleed.
Because the details of the incident are disputed, the factual evidence of the case will be heard as part of a stage one hearing later this month.
