Resurfacing works have started on a major road through a Wiltshire town, with closures set to continue throughout the week.
Roadworks on the A4 Bath Road into Chippenham began on the evening of Thursday, October 31, but have been ramping up around The Pheasant Roundabout since Monday, November 4.
Wiltshire Council has started a project to resurface the junction, following significant work to planned repairs due to be carried out by developer Bloor Homes.
Night closures on the road have been ongoing, between 7pm and 6am, since Thursday and are due to continue until Saturday, November 9.

Traffic lights are also due to be in place at the junction until this time.
A spokesperson said: “We’re resurfacing the Pheasant roundabout in Chippenham over the next few days and are in discussions with Bloor Homes, the developer, to bring forward their work to upgrade lighting and install traffic signal crossings in the area.
“There have been significant delays in the developer completing their work, and it is now due to be completed in early 2025.
“Given these continued delays with the developer’s work, we felt that the resurfacing could not wait any longer and have decided to complete this now.”
