Paramedics were called to a pedestrian crossing on a busy road after a car knocked a cyclist off his bike and failed to stop.
The collision took place on Sunday, October 27, at the pedestrian crossing close to Prison Bridge on Bath Road in Devizes.
According to police officers who attended the scene, a man was knocked off his bicycle by a black car at some point between 3pm and 4pm, while he was trying to cross the road.
The driver of the car, who had left the cyclist with minor injuries that required paramedics to be called, stopped momentarily but did not hang around to leave their details.

Wiltshire Police are now searching for more information regarding the incident they call a 'fail to stop' road traffic collision.
Anybody who has information or may have seen this crash take place should get in touch with police as soon as possible.
"This happened near a pedestrian crossing on Bath Road, Devizes, and involved a black coloured vehicle and a cyclist," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
