A new wellbeing hub in Warminster is offering an ‘open door’ welcome to all who need advice, help and support.

The Wellbeing Hub will be located just across the road from Dominoes in the former carpet shop in the High Street.

Spokesperson Lydia Moore says they plan to officially open in January to offer various therapies alongside dance and music sessions to diverse needs.

She added: “Warminster, thank you for the incredible support you have shown us at The Hub.

“Thank you to everyone who has popped in so far, even before we are officially open, it’s a vibrant hub.

“At the moment, The Wellbeing Hub is self-funded, and we’re grateful for the dedicated professionals committed to creating a happier community.

“If you would like to, we are looking to source donations or low-cost items like tables, chairs, sofas, mirrors, lights, toys, and kitchenware for The Hub.

“Also, we would really appreciate it if anyone with a van can help us to clear out some unwanted items.”

The Wellbeing Hub will offer a space for gathering, support, and well-being services such as play therapy, yoga, massage, personal training, foot care, counselling, homeopathy, gong bath, dance and more.

Lydia, 41, who is from Zimbabwe, moved to England in the year 2000, and to Warminster three years later after having children.

She is a mental health practitioner working at Princecroft School, and says the Wellbeing Hub will be a place where people can find joy.

She added: “Our team of psychologists, nurses, teachers, artists, nutritionists, youth workers, hairdressers, DJs and others are ready to meet diverse needs.

“With an open-door policy, it’s a space for everyone to come together and find joy. Enjoy activities like African dance, Zumba, personal training, training in caring for loved ones world food and music events, live performances, and even trips to our safari park in Zimbabwe.

“We’ll also offer counselling, and events for children and youth. We are looking forward to seeing what kind of home we can create together.”
