Three men have been arrested after a police helicopter was deployed to reports of poaching.
The National Police Air Service helicopter, the Roads Policing Team, and local response teams from Swindon and Devizes all rushed to the scene of the alleged incident in Wiltshire during the night of Wednesday, October 30.
Three suspects were located by officers and were subsequently arrested on suspicion of nighttime poaching and causing criminal damage.
They were taken into custody where they remained at the time of writing.

All three men were due to be interviewed on the morning of Thursday, October 31, while Wiltshire Police continues its investigation.
Officers have urged anyone who suspects that rural crimes like poaching have been taking place in their area to report any information to police.
A spokesperson for the force added: “If you notice any suspicious activity or believe rural crimes including nighttime poaching are taking place, please report this to us via our website or via 101.
“Always call 999 if a crime is in progress.”
