Residents at a Chippenham care home enjoyed live music as they celebrated Harvest Festival.
Staff and residents at Cepen Lodge marked the occasion with a special event featuring music from the Salvation Army Band.
The residents attended a service with their friends, family, and members of the local community.
A hamper of food and fresh produce was collected and donated at the event.
Attendees sang hymns, said prayers, and enjoyed homemade soup, fresh bread, and cakes prepared by the home's chef and the residents' baking club.
The care home's manager and activities team visited the Salvation Army centre to donate the hampers to the local food bank.
Senior general manager, Jade, said: "As always, we’ve all been looking forward to Harvest Festival.
"It’s such a lovely time of year – the residents love the service, giving thanks, and getting together with the local community.
"Our focus in Cepen Lodge is always looking at ways to support our local community as much as possible."
The home, which delivers residential, respite, and dementia care, offers a life enrichment programme aimed at keeping residents active, and provides a daily choice of physical and mental activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
