Award-winning writer and comedian Mark Steel is set to bring his new tour to Swindon.
The Leopard in My House will run across the UK from February to June next year, including a stop at the Wyvern Theatre on May 2.
The tour centres around Mr Steel's battle with throat cancer, a fight he is winning.
He said: "This show is the story of my year, of wonderful characters and often tricky but bafflingly positive experiences.
"Doing the show doesn’t quite make me glad that it happened, but it definitely makes up for it quite a bit."
Mr Steel is best known for his BBC Radio 4 show Mark Steel’s in Town, which was voted the sixth best radio comedy ever.
He has also presented the BAFTA-nominated Mark Steel Lectures for BBC Two and is a regular on BBC One’s Have I Got News for You and BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz.
In addition to his television and radio appearances, Mr Steel has written several acclaimed books and has been named newspaper columnist of the year.
His new show will open on the February 27 in Bracknell and close on June 20 in Portsmouth.
