A Wiltshire High Street has been closed for several hours while emergency services attend an incident.
Crews from across the region rushed to Malmesbury on October 26 at around 1:17pm.
Multiple fire engines were seen parked outside the Rose & Crown pub and the road was closed for several hours.
A patient was safely brought down from a first floor window by fire service crews from Corsham, Stratton, Trowbridge and Swindon and with the help of the ambulance service.
The Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service crews left the scene at 4:38pm and the road was reopened.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.17pm today (26 October) to High Street, Malmesbury to assist the ambulance with the extrication of a patient from a first floor window.
"A crew from Corsham, a technical rescue crew from Stratton, the heavy rescue unit from Trowbridge and the aerial ladder platform from Swindon attended.
"The patient was brought out of the property safely and our stop was at 4.38pm. The road has now reopened."
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and Wiltshire Police were approached for comment.
