A Trowbridge floristry shop raided twice by burglars within a month is now being marketed to let after the business owner decided to move to new premises.

Natalie Spillings plans to close her Absolutely Fabulous Florists shop in Church Walk and move to a new location in the new year.

Natalie, 27, said she decided to move because of the lack of footfall in Church Walk but says the two burglaries were the final straw.

Her business was targeted by burglar overnight on May 27/28 and again on June 28 and her shop ransacked for cash.

Natalie plans to move to a unit at the Trowbridge Garden Centre in Frome Road where she has been offered three months rent-free.

Now her existing retail premises are being marketed to let at £800 per month, inclusive of value added tax, by Trowbridge estate agents Paxtons.

The firm described the property as “an excellent opportunity to rent a shop unit in a popular and busy location within Trowbridge town centre.

“This shop unit is currently operated as a florist but could easily be used for a multitude of various uses.

“The annual rent has been set at a sensible figure and should be affordable. The unit will be available from January 2025.”
