Police rushed to reports of alleged fox hunting in the Wiltshire countryside.
On Thursday, October 17, officers received reports of both fox hunting and suspected driving offences in the Bremhill area, near Calne.
A public consultation event at Phelps Parade in the town centre was suspended as officers rushed to the scene.
Wiltshire Police says officers arrived in Charcut and found a number of horses and dogs passing through the area.
However, a spokesperson added that no hunting or traffic offences were observed when they arrived on the scene, despite officers working to establish if any had taken place.

They added that no evidence of any other offences has been produced at this stage.
Wiltshire Police emphasised that any reports of illegal fox hunting will be fully investigated, and neighbourhood teams will be ramping up patrols in the area following this incident.
A force spokesperson added: “We received a report of suspected driving offences and fox hunting in the area of Bremhill.
“We always take reports of this nature seriously and will fully investigate any reports made.
“We will be increasing our patrols in our rural areas over the coming weeks.”
