A Wiltshire opticians has been ranked among the best in the country.

Haine & Smith Opticians, which has 20 practices in and around Wiltshire, was ranked second in a survey by Which? magazine.

The survey asked more than 10,000 people about their experiences with eye test providers, including the quality of customer service and the thoroughness of tests.

The opticians received a customer score of 90 per cent, beating major chains like Specsavers, Boots, and Vision Express.

The survey is conducted every two years and this year showed that consumers prefer the service of independents and smaller opticians.

The opticians is based in Devizes and has 20 practices in and around Wiltshire.
