Key changes have been made to flood warnings issued in Wiltshire.
An alert warned that towns and residential areas near the Bristol Avon and Semington Brook, River Cole, Dorcan Brook and South Marston Book were likely to flood, as well as areas between Melksham and Bathford.
By the evening on Wednesday, October 9 flooding had already begun at the toll gate and causeway fields near Bradford on Avon.
As of Friday, October 11 the alert for the Mid Bristol Avon area and tributaries including Melksham and Bradford on Avon remains in place.
It states: "River levels remain high but are now falling on the middle Bristol Avon and Semington Brook.
"Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Avon, Semington Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around low lying land and roads between Melksham and Bathford. The flood gates at Holt Road may be closed."
A warning also remains in place for the Upper River Avon and tributaries including Malmesbury, Dauntsey, Chippenham and Calne.
It reads: "River levels are falling but remain high on the upper Bristol Avon, Tetbury Avon, Sherston Avon and Dauntsey Brook. Flooding is possible through Thursday and into Friday.
"Flooding may affect locations near the Bristol Avon, Tetbury Avon, Sherston Avon and Dauntsey Brook, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly in Tetbury, Badminton, Brook End at Luckington, Corsham, Lacock and the road at Reybridge."
This latest round of warnings come after multiple floods submerged towns in Wiltshire this year.
In January 2024, both Bradford on Avon and Marlborough saw the worst floods in many residents lifetimes.
Calne was also hit particularly hard in this year's September floods.
