Several pubs, cafes, takeaways, and restaurants in Wiltshire have been given new food hygiene ratings.
In recent weeks a range of businesses around the county have been visited by food and safety officers and handed new ratings based on their performance.
A number of four-out-of-five scores were handed out following these inspections, meaning that these venues have “good” food hygiene ratings.
But one takeaway, Santinos in Tidworth, was told that “some improvement is necessary” following a two-out-of-five rating being handed out.

These scores are based on how well a business handles, stores, and prepares its food, the cleanliness of the facilities, and how food safety is managed at the site.
Food hygiene ratings are a snapshot of the standards found at the time of the inspection.
