A Wiltshire woman has transformed an empty town centre unit into a "dream" fitness studio for other women.
Stacey St John Marchmont has taken over an empty space in Warminster’s Cornmarket and opened the Hebe-Fitness women’s studio.
The venue officially launched on Saturday, September 28, following a renovation, and was opened by Warminster mayor Cllr Stacie Allensby.
A spokesperson for the business said: “It was lovely to see so many people come to the launch party, many having experience of Stacey through classes she has taught but also lots that have watched the refurbishment with interest, wanting to know what the studio was all about.”
Ms Marchmont began by offering personal training from her home gym but after some time her business has grown, and she wanted to offer “something different.

She believes that many of her clients feel uncomfortable going to gyms because they feel “self-conscious or intimidated” in these spaces.
By creating a “warm and welcoming space with a feminine touch” for women to try out different exercise classes or personal training sessions, she hopes to eliminate this obstacle to improving both self-esteem and fitness.
The venue will offer an array of classes, designed specifically for women, for customers with different levels of experience.
Hebe-Fitness offers a monthly membership including all classes, as well as a pay-as-you-go option.
