A Wiltshire man has been banned from entering most of the major supermarket stores and retail parks in Bradford on Avon, Melksham and Trowbridge for the next two years.
George Edwards, of Blackthorn Way, Staverton, pleaded guilty at Swindon Magistrates' Court to taking goods worth £3.85 from the Bradford-on-Avon Co-op on September 15, 2024.
He indicated a plea of guilty to stealing rugs worth £400 from Tesco Extra in Trowbridge with other people’s help on September 19.
A criminal behaviour was put in place banning him from entering Spitfire Retail Park, The Shires Shopping Centre, The Gateway Shopping Centre on Bythesea Road, any Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s in Trowbridge, and any Sainsbury’s in Melksham or Bradford on Avon or any Co-op in Bradford on Avon for two years.
The 27-year-old also received a community order that requires him to carry out up to 25 rehabilitation activity days.
