Driver caught speeding at 106mph on M4 motorway in Newport (Image: PA)
A DRIVER was caught speeding while travelling more than the double limit at 106mph on the M4 motorway.
Keelan Tucker, 21, was clocked going through Newport on the 50mph zone eastbound carriageway between Junction 28 and Junction 27 in a Volkswagen Golf.
The offence occurred on December 3 last year, Cwmbran Magistrates' Court heard.
Tucker, of Monkton Farleigh, Wiltshire escaped a driving ban after he was given six penalty points.
He was ordered to pay £706 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.
