Firefighters and ambulance crews have safely rescued a man following a fall from height at a construction site in Wiltshire.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service were called to the construction site in Sherston on Monday, September 30 at 11:46am to assist South Western Ambulance Service and Tetbury Fire station from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service.
Local crews, including one from Chippenham, were at the scene for just under two hours rescuing the casualty from a first-floor window, after he had sustained a fall from height.
Firefighters used an aerial ladder platform from Swindon to bring the man to safety and allow the ambulance service to assess him, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.46am on 30 September to Sopworth Road, Sherston to assist the ambulance service with moving a casualty to safety following a fall from height.
“One crew from Chippenham, an aerial ladder platform from Swindon, and a crew from Tetbury (Gloucester FRS) attended where they rescued the man from a first-floor window using the aerial ladder platform. Our stop was at 1.29pm.”
