These are the roads in Trowbridge that will be temporarily closed later this month for the town's annual carnival procession.

The procession takes place on the evening of Saturday, October 19, and the road closures will begin at 4pm and end at 11pm.

The council will temporarily suspend the existing 18-tonne weight restriction on the complete length of Newtown and on Frome Road between its junction with Bradley Road and Newtown.

It will also temporarily suspend the existing No Left Turn on Market Street to enable: the safe passage of vehicles and for use of the diversion route whilst Trowbridge Carnival is taking place.

The restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. The closure for Manvers Street will be lifted between 3pm and 11pm.
