A closed Wiltshire petrol station is set to reopen once a significant refurbishment is completed.

The filling station at the Morrisons supermarket, off the A350 West Cepen Way in Chippenham, closed on Sunday, September 15, for an upgrade.

While the station has retained Morrisons branding and products, it was bought by Motor Fuel Group (MFG) along with Morrisons’ other petrol stations this year.

MFG has since launched a makeover of the busy Chippenham site and plans to reopen it to the public on Friday, September 20, once this has been completed.

“Redevelopment will include an increased choice for customers across convenience products and food-to-go offerings.

“Alongside this investment in convenience retail, MFG will be investing in the forecourt infrastructure to ensure the sites comply with the latest Health & Safety regulations and are fit for the future.

“MFG is proud to retain the Morrisons brand on these sites, with product ranges previously sold remaining available for customers and local communities.”
