Police have cordoned off a filling station in Trowbridge following an incident on Monday, September 16.

The Trowbridge Lodge Budgens store at the BP filling station on the West Ashton Road has been cordoned off.

A store manager has told a Wiltshire Times reporter that tobacco, cigarettes and vapes were allegedly taken.

The Budgens store normally closes at 10pm when the filling station closes. Staff were reportedly alerted to incident when the alarms sounded.

Several police cars have been pictured at the scene. 

Police have been approached for more details.
