Police are appealing for witnesses following an alleged racist assault on a cyclist in Wiltshire.

They believe the incident took place between 8:55pm and 9:05pm on Tuesday, July 9 when a car slowed down near a cyclist on Boscombe Road, Amesbury, close to the double mini roundabout off Solstice Park.

Items were allegedly thrown at the cyclist and racist insults were reportedly shouted at the victim and police have now issued an appeal for witnesses.
