A man who was wanted after failing to appear in court has heard his sentence over 100 days after he first pleaded guilty.
Joshua Daffurn pleaded guilty on Thursday, April 25 to assault after attacking his then-girlfriend, who screamed for her daughter’s help.
A warrant was put out for his arrest after he failed to appear in court in July and on Monday August 5 he heard his sentence at Swindon Magistrates Court, 104 days after his original guilty plea.

The court previously heard at a hearing in January that Daffurn, of Towpath Road, Trowbridge, had been out drinking on Sunday, January 28 with his on-off partner.
An argument between the couple became physical in the bedroom Daffurn pushed her onto the bed.
Keith Ballinger, prosecuting, said: “She then screamed out for her daughter to come and help her.”
