A Wiltshire man accused of attempted murder following an alleged town centre stabbing has been remanded in custody.
Kubilay Bostanli, of Anzio Road in Devizes, appeared at Salisbury Crown Court charged with attempted murder on Wednesday, July 29.
The 26-year-old was arrested and charged by police in relation to an incident that took place in the town centre on Saturday, June 29.
Police believe a man in his 20s was stabbed in the Estcourt Street area, shortly after noon, and he was subsequently flown to Southmead Hospital by air ambulance.
The main road through the town centre was closed while officers responded.

Following his arrest, Bostanli was also charged with assault by beating, assault of an emergency worker, harassment, and possession of a knife.
He first appeared in Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Monday, July 1, and the case was subsequently sent to crown court.
During his next appearance at Salisbury Crown Court, Bostanli did not enter a plea, and the case has now been sent to Winchester Crown Court.
The defendant is next set to appear on October 4.
In the meantime, he will remain in custody.
