The most and least expensive places to buy a home in a Wiltshire town have been revealed by a recent study.

Professional fast sales company Property Solvers has gathered and analysed data from the last five years of HM Land Registry to calculate the average cost of property in locations across Trowbridge.

By doing so the firm has been able to identify the destinations with the highest and lowest property prices across the Trowbridge postcodes, which includes areas like Hilperton and Staverton.

This comes after a wider study recently identified the cheapest places for buyers to find a home across the whole of Wiltshire.

Property Solvers only took into account streets or housing complexes where more than three properties were sold over the last five years.

Co-founder Ruban Selvanayagam said: “To keep the data less skewed, we only ranked the streets that had over three sales.

“It’s therefore worth noting that, in recent years, a property on Victoria Road sold for £1,465,000 and, at the other end of the market, there were properties that sold for £56,000 and under on Barons Crescent.”

The majority of roads included in the study had between three and nine property sales over the last five years, although developments with a large number of flats and houses, like Regal Court and Raleigh Court, had a lot more.
