A driver was taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash that closed a Wiltshire A-road for hours.
Emergency services rushed to the A3098 Tower Hill, at Dilton Marsh near Westbury, following a crash during the morning rush hour on Tuesday, July 16.
The driver of the only car involved in the incident suffered what is believed to be a minor injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police shut the A-road for several hours while recovery of the vehicle was carried out, causing traffic delays in the area.
Traffic maps indicate that the incident has now been resolved and the road reopened, with no delays in the area.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “At around 7.45am this morning we responded to a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A3098 Tower Hill near Dilton Marsh.
“The driver was taken to hospital to be treated for a reportedly minor injury.”
