A 100-seater McDonald’s restaurant has opened for the first time in Wiltshire.
The fast food giant’s latest branch opened at Castlemore Retail Park in Warminster on Wednesday, July 10.
Mayor of Warminster Stacie Allensby joined the team to open the restaurant after a significant investment from franchisee Mike Guerin.
The branch is now open from 7am until 11pm seven days a week for dine-in, takeaway, or McDelivery and has created 75 full and part-time jobs.
McDonald’s has built the restaurant in line with its “Convenience of the Future” programme, which combines new layout and technology to create a more efficient process for customers.

Mr Guerin, who now owns and operates 14 McDonald’s restaurants in Somerset, Bristol, and Wiltshire, was pleased to mark the opening of another Wiltshire branch.
He said: “We are delighted to open a brand-new McDonald’s restaurant in Warminster and can’t wait to see local customers enjoy our services.
“It’s particularly exciting to be opening this new restaurant as McDonald’s celebrates its 50th year in the UK.
“People are at the heart of our business, and we have welcomed some fantastic new employees with the opening of this restaurant.
“We’re committed to investing in opportunities for a mix of all ages, life stages and backgrounds, promoting flexibility and equality.”
