A Wiltshire pub is temporarily closed after its previous management left the venue for the final time.
The Brunel on New Road in Chippenham closed its doors for the final time under its previous tenants on Friday, June 28.
Management announced they were leaving the popular town centre venue.
The pub has since been listed as “temporarily closed” on Facebook. The Gazette and Herald has contacted Stonegate for confirmation.
Ahead of the previous management’s final night behind the bar, a spokesperson paid tribute to the pub’s regulars who supported them during an “unforgettable” journey.

They said: “Tonight our team will close the doors for the last time under the management.
“Join us as we say goodbye to our favourite pub, our second home, and embrace the friendships, relationships, and memories that our pub has made and been a part of over the years.
“As the end of an era comes, it comes with a bittersweet goodbye, we’ve had one hell of an amazing journey, being part of the Chippenham community, good and bad, but every bit unforgettable.
“We will embrace the start of a new beginning and we hope to see you all return when our new publican re-opens our doors when they’re ready.
“Until then Chippenham, come and join one of the best bar teams around, and let’s drink to good old Brunel.”
The Brunel had been listed on the market by Stonegate earlier this year.
In the listing, Stonegate’s regional manager said the pub changing hands represents an opportunity to take it “to the next level”.
They added: “Have you got the edge and drive to put your own creative stamp on this established opportunity, in the bustling part of Chippenham?
“Or have you got a new or established concept that you’re looking to expand to this 200-cover venue in Wiltshire?
“The central location of The Brunel means that it is surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of Chippenham.
“Making this opportunity very exciting for someone to inject their own flair and take this magnificent site to the next level.”
