"Our investigation remains ongoing.”

Officers were first called to Strawberry Fields shortly after 8pm on July 2 following reports that a man had been stabbed.

The man died at the scene and his identity is believed to be Raymond Groves from Bristol although formal identification has yet to be carried out.

Helen Shakespeare, who was the first to be charged in connection to this case, appeared in Swindon Magistrates' Court on July 6 and has now been remanded in custody until July 9 when she will appear at Winchester Crown Court.

Presiding Justice Amanda Lee told her: “You understand what is happening as your case is not suitable for the magistrates’ court and will be going to Winchester Crown Court on July 9.

“You will be remanded into custody until that time.”

A scene now remains in place in Strawberry Fields while specialist officers continue to carry out their investigation.
