A GP surgery in Wiltshire has been damaged during an alleged attempted break-in.

Police are investigating a reported attempted burglary at The Porch Surgery in Beechfield Road, Corsham, which is believed to have taken place between June 22 and June 24.

Officers say an attempt was made to break into the facility during this time period and damage was caused to the roof.

Nothing was taken during the incident.

Police are investigating and believe the attempted break-in occurred overnight.

Any witnesses, or those with information about what happened, have been urged to come forward.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at a surgery in Corsham.

“We believe the incident happened overnight however we are keen to hear from anyone with information.
