A popular festival is set to return to Wiltshire for the first time in two years.
The village of Biddestone will host its first Biddstock music festival since 2022 on Saturday, July 6.
The event will boast performances from The Shadow Monkeys, Mister Kanish, and headliner The Richard Reeves Band.
Co-founder Matt Powell hopes this year’s edition will be the biggest yet.
He said: “We’re aiming for it to be our biggest Biddstock yet… our line line-up includes three live bands, with three bars, two street food concessions, beer pong, and more.”
Biddstock has also announced homelessness charity Doorway as the lead charity for the event.
The festival donated £8,000 to Doorway in 2022 and has raised £27,000 for good causes over the last four events.
CEO of Doorway Jo Kitching added: “In 2022 we had three open access drop-ins in a week, this year we’re open every day thanks to Biddstock’s contribution.
“We are delighted Biddstock is supporting us again in 2024.
“Depending on how much is raised we are looking to extend our offering to the local villages with the funds, where we know there are more people who need our help.”
Ticket information and announcements can be found on the Biddstock 2024 Instagram.
