Emergency services rushed to a scene in Westbury on Monday afternoon following the death of a teenage boy.
Wiltshire Police say they were first called to Lower Westbury Road in Wiltshire at around 1.30pm on Monday, June 26, after a 17-year-old boy was found unconscious.
Paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service were already at the scene treating the teenager when police arrived, but the boy was sadly pronounced dead before he could be taken to hospital.
Police officers are now appealing for any witnesses, but say that his death is "not being treated as suspicious".
"We are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy died in Westbury this afternoon (Monday)," said a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police.
"His next of kin have been informed. Our thoughts are with his family at this incredibly sad time.
"If you have information that could help our enquiries please contact us on 101 quoting log number 185 of Monday's date."
