Traffic delays have been caused by a weekend charity event at the home of a famous musician.
Motorists experienced heavy traffic on the A4 between Corsham and Chippenham throughout Sunday thanks to an event at Middlewick House
One driver reported that it took them around half an hour to travel less than a mile.
Middlewick House is a Grade II listed Georgian-style house just outside the town of Corsham.
It is the home of the Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and his wife Nettie, who acquired it from previous owners Andrew and Camilla Parker Bowles – later Queen Camilla – in 1995
The property is hosting an open garden event, where members of the public can wander around the gardens and see animals, as well as a selection of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason’s classic and high-performance cars.
The family-friendly weekend includes plenty of stalls to browse, with lots of items for sale, including jewellery, plants, candles and art.
It is being held in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance and The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust.
Signs have been put up in the area warning motorists to 'expect delays'.
One motorist told the Times: "People coming from Chippenham are looping on themselves at the Hare and Hounds roundabout to get into the event so traffic going towards Corsham from Bath basically isn't moving, same for people coming from the town centre."
