A man has been arrested in Wiltshire on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker.
On Wednesday, June 5 around 1:30pm, Melksham police officers received a report of an assault against a woman in her 30s in Semington.
Following enquiries and searches by various units - including the dog unit and support from the National Police Air Service - a man in his 30s was located.
He has been arrested on suspicion of assault and affray.
The man was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and has been taken into custody for questioning.
Police say they would like to speak to members of the public who assisted them with sightings while the searches were ongoing.
