A woman has been left with puncture wounds after a dog attack in Melksham.
The incident happened on Sunday, May 26 when the victim picked up her own dog to protect it, but the dog which broke loose from its owner bit the her instead.
Police have now released pictures of two people who they want to identify in relation to the dog attack.
Wiltshire Police said that between 1.15pm and 1.30pm, the victim was walking her dog in Shurnhold Fields when she spotted two dogs with their owners, both of which were on leads.
One of the dogs was able to pull away from its owner and ran towards the victim and her dog.
It bit the victim on her arm, causing puncture wounds.
The two pictured people are thought to know each other.
