Parents have been issued a warning over an unknown man allegedly stopping school children in Wiltshire.
Police have received multiple reports of a man, believed to be aged between 50 and 60-years-old, stopping school children in the Trowbridge area.
In particular, children from The John of Gaunt and Clarendon schools have been targeted.
The unidentified male is described as white with a bald head and was reportedly driving a black vehicle at the time of the incidents.
Police have urged parents, and any other members of the public in the area, to remain vigilant during pick-up and drop-off times.
Anyone who has witnessed anything suspicious should contact police.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are urging that parents and staff from the schools pay close attention during school pick-up and drop-off times.
“For incidents like this, we also ask for those around the area of these schools to be vigilant, call 999 if they see anything of this nature, and if safe to do so make note of vehicle details.
“If you have witnessed anything please report to us using the reference number 54240056891.”
