An annual scarecrow trail is taking place this weekend to raise money for a Trowbridge village primary school.
The event hosted by Keevil School will take place on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19 from 10am until 4pm.
Friends of Keevil School (Foks) have organised the theme ‘Around the World’ where 40 different scarecrows made by the community will be unveiled.
Chair of Foks Caroline Noonan said: “We are passionate about giving the children at Keevil School the best opportunities during their time with us, and we raise an extraordinary amount of money over the course of the weekend to help fund amazing trips, equipment, and experiences for all the pupils.”

“Using money raised at past events, we have funded trips to the theatre, residential trips to Wales, coaching sessions with coaches from Bath Rugby, and we commit to paying for transport which allows our children to make use of the wonderful facilities we have in the area such as Wiltshire School of Gymnastics and the new Swimarium in Westbury.”
There will also be activities like a BBQ, bouncy castle and raffle to win tickets to a Swindon Town football match or an overnight stay in an Airbnb.
