Applications are now open for the Trowbridge Town Council's grant scheme, which supports charities to help local residents.
To be eligible for the 2025/2026 Core Grants, applicants must meet specific criteria outlined by the Town Council, which awards amounts exceeding £2,000 annually to projects and organisations that contribute to the community.
This year they have awarded the highest amount to Trowbridge Future, donating £15,000 towards their hub for disadvantaged people, aimed at developing their skills and building their confidence by encouraging them to connect with others in Trowbridge and the surrounding areas.
Other charities that have received the Core Grant this year include Citizens Advice Bureau, HELP Counselling Services and Wessex Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre - totalling nearly £35,000.

Successful applicants will be notified and awarded their grants in July next year during the Civic Ceremony.
