A body has been found in the search for a missing man in Wiltshire.
Officers were carrying out enquiries since an initial report of a Chippenham 81-year-old named Michael being missing and found a body at 10.30am.
They do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances at this early stage.
Michael, 81, was reported missing this morning from his home near Greenway Lane, last seen at around 6am.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Officers have been carrying out enquiries since the initial report, and sadly, a body was found at 10.30am.
“Michael’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers. Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
Police said they were concerned about Michael’s welfare as he did not have the medication he requires on him.
He was described as white, approximately 5 ft 7ins, with white hair and is believed to be wearing grey jogging bottoms, a black zip up jacket, striped t-shirt and beige shoes.
