Womad 2024: Dates, full line-up and ticket information

Womad is a festival like no other, drawing in people from around the world to the picturesque landscape of Charlton Park in Wiltshire where they can enjoy talent from every genre and every corner of the globe.

This year’s festival will run from Thursday, July 25 until Sunday, July 28 and will feature artists performing R&B,  hip-hop, rap, rock, blues, folk, jazz and everything in between.

Among the line-up are two Latin Grammy-Award winners, Bala Desejo and iLe, returning to the festival for the second time.

Bala Desejo are a critically acclaimed group from Brazil and they’re set to bring the carnival to Wiltshire, while Puerto Rican singer iLe made her name in the alternative hip-hop group Calle 13 and is known for her enchanting vocals and political lyrics.

Joining them is UK hip-hop trio Young Fathers whose most recent album ‘Heavy Heavy’ was described by The Guardian as “something that’s unique and completely modern, that couldn’t have been made before now.”

As well as a long line-up of musical talent from across the world, Womad also offers lots of things to do for those wanting a break from singing and dancing.

The festival will include talks from inspirational authors, spoken-word poetry performances, physics experiments and the Womad spa with wood-fired hot tubs.

The family-friendly event also offers an array of workshops, a Sunday parade, and child-friendly activities to keep the little ones occupied.

The festival is free for all under 13s, but everyone must have a ticket.
