A courtyard of eight new “characterful” homes is being proposed in a historic market town in the west of Wiltshire.
The site is located at the south-western edge of the Cotswolds, adjacent to the main Bath Road leading into Corsham and Pickwick.
The land is at Park Lane and is “effectively a headland remnant of a once larger field.”
The planning application presented to Wiltshire Council describes a cluster of three four-bedroom homes and five three-bedroom homes, with a total of 22 parking spaces.
It also states the design will allow for “strong characterful gable facades” and a “pedestrian-friendly” inner courtyard.
The consultation period is open until Thursday, April 4, and Wiltshire Council must make a decision by Thursday, May 2.
The council also considered a number of other planning applications this week.
