Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft of a Land Rover Defender in Corsham.
Overnight from January 19 to January 20, a property in Pockeridge Drive was targeted, with thieves getting away with the vehicle as well as a flatbed trailer and numerous tools.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police is now trying to get hold of anyone who may be able to help with their investigations.
They said: "We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or saw any suspicious behaviour in the area of Valley Road, Pockeridge Drive and Neston – where red diesel was also stolen on the same evening – to please get in touch.
"If you can help, contact us via our website or on 101 quoting reference 54240007252."
Last year, data from confused.com identified the Land Rover Defender as the most common car to be stolen in the UK.
The car insurance company looked into which car models and brands were stolen the most between March 2022 and March 2023.
They took the number of stolen cars per model or brand and divided that by the number of licensed cars of that model/brand before multiplying by 100,000, with Land Rover coming in top.
