A burglar has pleaded guilty to stealing sentimental jewellery from two properties in Wiltshire.
Ryan Jones of Silver Birch Grove, Trowbridge, appeared at Salisbury Crown Court on Wednesday, January 17.
In January of 2023, the 33 year-old broke into a property in Lowmead in Trowbridge and stole sentimental family jewellery.
On March 20, Jones broke into a property in Ramsbury Walk. He got into the property through a kitchen window and searched the house. He stole watches and silver bangles.
Jones will be sentenced at Salisbury Crown Court at the end of March.
PC Grist from the Force Burglary unit said: “Jones has caused a great amount of upset to the community and I’m pleased that he has pleaded guilty to these offences.
“We will not tolerate this.
“Burglary is one of the most invasive crimes with a long-lasting effect upon the victims and causes a great deal of concern within communities.
“Our burglary unit is dedicated to cracking down on burglars and ensuring people can feel safe in their homes.”
