An elderly and disabled man was shouted and sworn at by a flat cap-wearing dog walker.
The incident occurred at around 10.30pm on Saturday, December 9 in Calstone, near Calne, when an unknown suspect shouted, swore and threatened the vulnerable victim.
Police say that the suspect was described as male, wearing a flat cap and Wellington boots and was smartly dressed for the countryside.
He was also walking a black dog at the time.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “If you have any information, CCTV or doorbell footage which may assist us with our enquiries in relation to this matter, please contact PCSO Mark Cook on mark.cook@wiltshire.police.uk , quoting the crime reference number: 54230130589.
“Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
